- Platform: Refers to the CivicFix mobile application and services
- User: Any person accessing or using CivicFix
- Citizen: User who reports civic issues
- Authority: Verified government official managing issues
- Department: Entity responsible for resolving assigned issues
- Admin: Platform controller responsible for moderation and system integrity
2. Eligibility
To use CivicFix:
- You must be at least 13 years old
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- Authorities must provide valid government credentials for verification
3. Account Registration
- Users must create an account using a valid email address
- Email verification is required before accessing services
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree not to share your login credentials
4. User Roles & Responsibilities
a. Citizens
- Report genuine civic issues with accurate details
- Avoid false, misleading, or duplicate reports
- Participate responsibly in community discussions
b. Authorities
- Provide correct official details and documents
- Review and assign issues responsibly
- Verify completed work accurately

c. Departments
- Resolve assigned issues in a timely manner
- Upload valid proof of completion
- Maintain quality and accountability
d. Admin
- Monitor platform activity
- Approve or reject authority verification
- Moderate content and users
- Take action against misuse
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree NOT to:
- Submit false or fake reports
- Abuse, harass, or spam other users
- Upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform
Violation may result in suspension or permanent ban.
6. Issue Reporting Disclaimer
- CivicFix acts as a facilitator between users and authorities
- We do NOT guarantee resolution timelines
- Final responsibility for issue resolution lies with authorities and departments
7. Community & Communication
- CivicFix provides community features for public discussion
- Users remain anonymous (identified by Civic ID and location only)
- Misuse, abuse, or spreading false information is strictly prohibited
Admin reserves the right to remove content or restrict access.
8. Rewards System
Citizens may earn reward points for valid contributions. Admin reserves the right to:
- Add or deduct points
- Freeze rewards in case of misuse
- Cancel rewards for fraudulent activity
9. Authority Verification
- Authorities must submit valid documents (ID proof, authorization letter)
- Admin reviews and approves or rejects applications
- Unverified authorities will have limited access
10. Privacy
User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We ensure secure authentication via Firebase, controlled access to sensitive data, and no unauthorized sharing of personal information.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software related to CivicFix are owned by the platform. Users may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or distribute platform content
- Use CivicFix branding without permission
12. Limitation of Liability
CivicFix is not responsible for:
- Delays in issue resolution
- Actions or inaction of authorities or departments
- Incorrect or misleading user submissions
- Any indirect or consequential damages
13. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or block users for violations
- Permanently ban accounts in severe cases
- Restrict access without prior notice
14. Data Accuracy
Users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Ensuring uploaded content is genuine
CivicFix is not liable for false data submitted by users.
15. Service Availability
- CivicFix aims to provide uninterrupted service
- However, availability may be affected by maintenance or technical issues
- We do not guarantee continuous uptime
